First-Generation Leadership Program (FGLP)
The First-Generation Leadership Program (FGLP) at the University of Florida is a year-long initiative dedicated to empowering first-year, first-generation students to grow as campus leaders. My journey with FGLP began as a cohort member in 2022-2023, and I later served as Head of Public Relations on the 2023-2024 Executive Board. This experience not only deepened my connection to UF’s first-gen community but also sparked my passion for advertising and media
It was through this role that I discovered my love for storytelling, creative strategy, and visual communication, all while shaping the experiences of incoming first-year students. This collection below highlights some of the events I had the honor of photographing during my time with FGLP.
