The ask:

In June 2025, Disney Advertising tasked our team with researching cross-industry trends to identify opportunities for brand integration. Specifically, we analyzed how sports figures across F1, football, baseball, soccer, golf, and tennis influence fashion and consumer trends, highlighting the growing intersection between athletics, style, and popular culture.

The Research

Our research process centered on social listening to uncover emerging conversations and trends across the sports and fashion industries. Using NetBase Quid, we analyzed data from platforms such as Reddit, Instagram, and Facebook to identify key themes and sentiment patterns. We also incorporated qualitative insights from TikTok to better understand real-time cultural trends and audience engagement. My role primarily involved conducting in-depth analyses for football and soccer, while contributing to additional research in tennis and golf.

The Result

We compiled a comprehensive research report summarizing our key findings and insights, which was delivered to the Disney Advertising team to inform their understanding of emerging trends. Our team also presented the final analysis directly to Disney leaders, highlighting actionable opportunities and strategic takeaways based on our research.
